Last weekend I brewed my first all-grain batch. I'm pretty pleased with how my equipment performed though my efficiency was a lot lower than I'd like. Oh well. I intend to blog about the recipe, the equipment, and the process in the near future. I think doing one's first all-grain batch is something of a milestone for any brewer- I know it is for me. I can't wait to taste the results and revel in this accomplishment. While all grain was a good amount of extra time invested in the batch it wasn't as bad as I thought. I'm eager to brew this way again! While I'm excited about this new aspect of my brewing repertory I don't think I'll go all-grain exclusively as I've had such pleasing results with partial-mash.
