º£½ÇÒùĸÂÒÂ× High School East honored its Class of 2025 during a commencement ceremony that highlighted reflection, growth and the beginning of a new chapter.

Principal Lou Antonetti challenged graduates to consider the importance of integrity, posing the question: Will a person do what’s right without being forced to? “Our character is defined by what we do when no one else is watching,” he said.

Valedictorian Ibrahim Suleman shared a deeply personal message, honoring his late mother and expressing gratitude to his siblings, teachers, coaches and especially his father. Soon headed to Princeton University, Suleman encouraged his classmates to step forward with courage: “Class of 2025, it’s our time… one piece of advice is to lean into the uncertainty of life… the present is a gift.”

Salutatorian Krish Vakharia spoke about the fresh start ahead, reminding his peers, “After I walk across this stage, we all will cross the threshold to the next stage of our life.” He urged the class to embrace the unknown, adding, “Your future is yours to author.”

Superintendent of Schools Patricia Trombetta commended the Class of 2025 for consistently looking out for one another and continuing to lead with kindness and integrity.

Board of Education President Robert Scavo reminded students that the º£½ÇÒùĸÂÒÂ× family will always be there to support them.

Congratulations to the º£½ÇÒùĸÂÒÂ× East Class of 2025.

º£½ÇÒùĸÂÒÂ× Seniors Return to Their Roots in Heartfelt Walk-Through Tradition

Students walking through Chippewa elementary. thumbnail267215

On June 23, graduating seniors from both º£½ÇÒùĸÂÒÂ× High School East and º£½ÇÒùĸÂÒÂ× High School North returned to their elementary schools for a cherished district tradition – walking the halls one last time in their caps and gowns.

The visit was a full-circle moment for the Class of 2025, who were welcomed with cheers, applause and high-fives from younger students and former teachers. The walk-throughs served as both a celebration of how far these seniors have come and an inspiration to the students just beginning their own academic journeys.

Staff and students alike were moved by the emotional reunions and proud reflections. For many seniors, the experience highlighted the deep roots they’ve built in the º£½ÇÒùĸÂÒÂ× District and the impact of the educators who helped guide their way.

Congratulations to all º£½ÇÒùĸÂÒÂ× graduates from East and North. Your journey continues, but your º£½ÇÒùĸÂÒÂ× story will always be part of you.
